Alex Rodriguez, he of the bad hip and bad groin, the guy who didn't have any power any more, was starting to show his age, and was now a broken down, washed up, can't-get-it-done-anymore old bag of bones, at least according to most of the general media and everyone on the Baseball Tonight crew, is currently 3rd in the AL in RBIs.
How do ya like them apples, you bunch of Boston nut-hugging bitches?! Sure he's still only hitting .276 on the year, but he's been making those hits count. Now his swing is starting to come to him; he looks much more fluid in his motion and timing with his hip rotation and getting his hands through the zone, which says to me that the hip is feeling much better and the drive he's been getting on some of these recents homers agrees with me. Fucking guy has been getting big RBIs and making dynamite plays in the field all season on one good leg. Now he's back to being on four good legs and he's getting ready to gallop all over everyone's ass in the 2nd half of the year.
