I said before the season started that Bill Hall was a shitty signing and that no one in Wisco was sad to see his ass leave and 6 months later he proves why.

And that fact that it happens with Papelbon on the mound to take the L just makes it that much sweeter.  I don't know what it is that spawns my hatred for him, but at this point I would laugh hysterically if I found out he had AIDS and then take the day off from work the next day to celebrate it.

It got a little hairy, but a win's a win and the Yanks still control their own destiny heading into the second game.  Not a bad spot to be in.
