- The Yanks won 7-4 over the Tigers yesterday. Adam Warren threw 2 scoreless innings, Shawn Kelley, Mark Montgomery, and Preston Claiborne each tossed scoreless frames of relief behind him, and Brian McCann, Gary Sanchez, Jose Pirela, and Yangervis Solarte all homered.
- Today's the big pitching day, with CC, Hirok, and Ma-kun all scheduled to throw 2 innings. Derek Jeter will also play again.
- David Robertson threw live BP yesterday morning. Ivan Nova, ManBan, and Michael Pineda all threw bullpens.
- The latest plan for Pineda is a sim game on Sunday and then a real game sometime next week. He's the last of the 5th starter competitors to get into a game.
- Jose Ramirez's MRIs came back clean, which is good news, and Slade Heathcott participated in baseball activities for the first time this spring, which is better news.
