It does make you cringe, especially in a ST game like this, but it's part of what makes him who he is. Chad also mentioned that Gardner acknowledged Girardi breaking his balls over it in the past, and that by now Joe is aware he's going to continue to play at 110 mph. <br /><br />With all the bitching and moaning about how Cano fails to run out every single ground ball it's only fitting that the same crowd harp on Gardner for going balls deep on every play. It's part of the "charm" of our fanbase. <br /><br />No Yankee takes more shit than Gardner does. For a guy that contributes as much as he does for as little as he makes it's ridiculous, but the skill set is something Yankee fans, and baseball fans in general take for granted.
